Tim and Sean work on degassing the first casting of the base for the Superman bust.
The mold has been created out of Sean’s sculpture and a test casting has been made.
Sean is working on a custom Batman Beyond figure in the style of Teen Titans and based off a Robin figure in that line.
Sean has started work on a bust of the character Parker.
Tim and Sean have already completed several test casts of The Rocketeer but one thing they’re unhappy with is that the current base is two pieces. They’ve made a mold of a one-piece base and are making test casts to see if this will be any better.
Nearly done with this Superman bust of George Reeves. We’re planning to start making molds of this in the next few weeks and should be ready to cast by the end of the month.
We were doing some experiments in coloring flesh colored resin black for a project we were working on, but whenever we added any color to the resin we got some “interesting” results. Calvin & Hobbes superfan Blake Henry sent us these pics of Resin Heroes Calvin & Hobbes set he painted in faux bronze. Blake said, “It was a lot of fun painting these guys. The detail on the figures is amazing and they look great sitting next to my Resin Heroes Rocketter and Superman on my toy shelf! Keep up the good work!”

Tim recently finished putting together a commission of a 1/6th scale Wonder Woman figure. Based on Sean’s head-sculpt of Wonder Woman, Tim painted the resin head and used a Dragon (DML) figure for the body. The costume is completely hand-sewn/made by him too. Tim also did the graphic design of the backing card used on the packaging for the figure as well.
