Tim Faurote Doc Savage magazine illustration

Tim recently completed work on an illustration to be used in the next issue of Pulp Fan magazine. Painted in acrylics, the illustration titled “Six to One” features Doc Savage battling six gangsters in deserted ally in the 1930s.

The steps Tim takes to produce a piece like this start with creating several different concepts, selecting one, drawing that out onto tracing paper and making adjustments, transferring the final drawing over to illustration board and finally painting.

Resin Heroes fan

Resin Heroes fan Samson sent along this drawing he did of Thanos and we were blown away by it. We too are fans of the recent Avengers: Infinity War movie where Thanos was the big, bad guy and we couldn’t resist publishing this image for all to see.

Nine year old Samson drew Thanos because he thinks he’s a cool character and because Infinity War is his favorite movie. Samson loves to draw animals and comic book characters and says that his favorite is Batman.

Samson draws once or twice a week and recommends to others to “use your imagination” if you want to create cool pictures like he does.
