Tim has begun to paint samples of our upcoming Frankenstein resin model kits.
Here are some new pics of our very nearly completed Mad Scientist Lair Backdrop as well as our Frankenstein. The Mad Scientist Lair is resin kit that works great as a backdrop for any figure from a 6″ Mego to a 12″ action figure — one of the pics has a Sideshow Frankenstein in place to show the scale.
Our new Frankenstein resin model is a new kit that’s specifically designed to go along with the Mad Scientist Lair.
Over the last few weeks Tim’s been hard at work designing, molding, casting and now painting a Mad Scientist Lair to go along with an upcoming figure he and Sean are working on. Once complete we’ll be selling this kit on our eBay store and will make the perfect backdrop for any horror action figure. If you’re interested in picking on up when available, drop us a line.
Sean and Tim spent the day making molds for an upcoming figure they’re working on — Frankenstein.
We recently completed a commission for a custom 12″ Shadow/Lamont Cranston action figure. The head is a modified version of our original “Parker” head and the rest is a mix of other manufacturer’s products, some of which have been customized as well. The figure can be displayed either as the Shadow or Lamont and comes with accessories like .45s, gloved hands with ring, a dual shoulder-holster and cigarettes.
Tim recently completed work on an illustration to be used in the next issue of Pulp Fan magazine. Painted in acrylics, the illustration titled “Six to One” features Doc Savage battling six gangsters in deserted ally in the 1930s.
The steps Tim takes to produce a piece like this start with creating several different concepts, selecting one, drawing that out onto tracing paper and making adjustments, transferring the final drawing over to illustration board and finally painting.
Sean’s been hard at work casting up a ton of more resin monsters, including the new Michael Myers, Nosferatu and the Invisible Man for Monster Pizza!
Sean’s been working on a resin model inspired by the character of Michael Myers from the Halloween series of movies that once done and cast will be on sale at Famous Monster Pizza in Decatur, Indiana.
